The Waynesboro Players are proud and excited to bring you the season
opening production of Jean Shepherd's "A Christmas Story" adapted by
Philip Grecian.
A wonderful Christmas comedy of a boy named Ralphie and his desire to
get an official Red Ryder 200-Shot Carbine Action Range Model Air Rifle.
The one that can "shoot your eye out". Set in the 1940s, Ralphie and
his wild imagination take him to fighting off bandits to being a praised
writer, all ideas and attempts in winning his parents over. All the
unforgettable moments including the infamous leg lamp, tongue to the
lamp post, and the always threatening bully, Scut Farkas, are included
in this hilarious production.
