About Waynesboro Players With over forty years of experience, Waynesboro Players entertains the play-going population of the Shenandoah Valley and beyond. From the first play in 1962, the Players embrace all of the talent in the area -- people who give their time and energy to bring to audiences a variety of superior productions. This dedication to live theater flourishes with outstanding casts and crews, production teams, and direction...all volunteer! We also give back to our community with a scholarship award, student participation, and open invitations for new volunteers, even if they have never done theater, to come and experience a working production from start to finish.
